The DR® PREMIER 26 Field and Brush Mower is a lightweight, maneuverable brush mower designed for cutting thick field grass and clearing overgrown brush, including saplings up to 2 inches in diameter. It features a 26-inch brush deck, a 10.5 HP Briggs & Stratton® OHV engine, three forward speeds, powered reverse, and large lugged tires.

Unlike the PRO 26, the PREMIER 26 is designed exclusively as a mower and does not accept optional attachments.

26-Inch Brush Mower Deck

The PREMIER 26 features a 26-inch cutting width and is designed to clear thick field grass and overgrown brush. The mower can also handle saplings up to 2 inches in diameter.

The deck is enclosed on three sides so that cut grass and brush are chopped and re-chopped beneath the deck. According to the manufacturer, this produces a finer mulch and reduces the amount of material left behind compared with side-discharging mower designs.

10.5 HP Briggs & Stratton® E Series™ Engine

The PREMIER 26 uses a 10.5 HP, 344cc Briggs & Stratton® E Series™ OHV engine with manual starting and a cast-iron cylinder sleeve.

Gear-Driven Transmission

The mower uses a gear-driven transmission with three forward speeds and one reverse speed. The geared transmission allows the operator to select a fixed ground speed while steering the machine across uneven terrain.

Large Lugged Tires

The PREMIER 26 is equipped with 16-inch x 4.75-inch lugged tires. The tires are sealant filled, according to the manufacturer, and are designed to provide traction across uneven terrain while offering resistance to punctures.

Custom-Made Blade Spindle

The blade spindle is made from 1.375-inch-thick cast iron and features oversized double-sealed bearings. The spindle is integrated into the deck housing and reinforced for vibration-free performance.

Heavy-Duty Powder Coating

The mower’s frame and deck feature a heavy-duty powder-coated finish designed to resist scratching and support long-term durability.

Designed Exclusively as a Mower

The PREMIER 26 is designed as a dedicated field and brush mower and does not accept the manufacturer’s optional attachments. This configuration allows the model to have a lighter frame compared with the larger DR® Field and Brush Mower models that support optional attachments.
