22 HP Kawasaki Commercial Engine

The XD36 is powered by a Kawasaki® FS651V engine producing 22 HP from 726 cc of displacement. The engine features electric starting and is covered by a 3-year commercial-use engine warranty according to the manufacturer.

Independent Hydrostatic Wheel Drive

Two independent hydrostatic wheel drives provide variable-speed forward and reverse operation along with zero-degree turning capability. Independent wheel-drive levers allow the operator to control power to each wheel directly for maneuvering around obstacles and through tighter areas.

The drive system is designed to provide easier handling during long mowing sessions.

36-Inch Brush Deck

The XD36 features a fully welded, 12-gauge brush deck measuring 36 inches wide. A reinforcing stability bar adds strength to the deck, while the deck pivots up to ±5 degrees to follow the contours of uneven ground.

An optional heavy-duty brush blade is available for tougher woody material. According to the manufacturer, the optional blade can be sharpened on both sides, providing up to twice the blade life compared with a single-edge blade.

Side Discharge

The XD36 uses side discharge to move mowed material away from beneath the extra-wide deck. This helps prevent excessive accumulation of cut material under the mowing deck during operation.

11-Inch Front Caster Wheels

The 11-inch front caster wheels support the weight of the 36-inch deck during extended mowing sessions. The casters are foldable and can be flipped back when working around brush and tougher vegetation.

On-Board Control Panel

The primary operating controls are located together on the on-board control panel. An integrated maintenance meter helps track service intervals.
